Description
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the ethical and strategic commitment of an organization to operate in a way that best serves its community. It considers the impact of an organization's actions on society and the environment beyond its primary function. CSR encompasses a wide range of activities that go beyond legal requirements and help positively contribute to the well-being of communities, the environment, and stakeholders. Initiating CSR projects is often seen as a strategic decision that can positively impact an organization's reputation, relationships with stakeholders, sustainability, and long-term viability.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, you should be able to:
Define Corporate Social Responsibility.
Describe the four pillars of CSR.
Explain potential strategic benefits of CSR to people and organizations.
Develop an action plan for your own organization to improve CSR.

We look forward to seeing you at the 28 November SGMP Florida Capital Chapter Meeting and Volunteer Event!
